Christmas 2022 Appeal Update

Lovely letter received to thank Team CWM our suppliers and our fantastic customers for their recent donations, all the presents donated went to a fantastic cause and helped make Christmas 2022 extra special for many local families in need.

Acknowledgement of donation of toys received for Christmas Day
On behalf of the whole Caritas Diocese of Salford family, I just wanted to formally thank
you and your team so much for their support in donating toys to help towards the
Christmas Day meal hosted at Bury Parish Hall. We had over 50 people to sit down to the
meal, plus over 600 deliveries of Christmas meals and gift parcels for 126 children.
We support people experiencing poverty, isolation and homelessness all year round
- issues felt even more acutely at Christmas. This year, demand was greater than ever for
our services, caused by the cost-of-living crisis. Your kindness in helping to ensure there
was a warm space for people to come for the support, food, clothing and resources they
needed to help them transform their lives with dignity.
