To become an aproved dealer you have to meet the following criteria: 

As an AA Approved Dealer, you'll get everything in the AA Cars Standards plan, plus AA Approved Inspections. Go above and beyond and offer your customers complete transparency and reassurance that the vehicle being sold meets the highest standards.

AA approved garages are not owned or managed by the AA - they're either independently owned or part of a franchise group. We thoroughly inspect each one before it can join our network to ensure it fully meets our quality, service and training standards. This means every garage is trustworthy and AA approved.

What is Dealer Promise?

It’s basically the AA’s Commandments of Gold Standard customer service – making sure you get looked after both before and after sale to create peace of mind and a stress-free experience.

What are the promises? The dealer will…

• Provide a minimum of 6 months MOT on all vehicles
• Allow you to test drive any vehicle
• Welcome any vehicle inspection before you buy
• Make sure every vehicle is in good condition
• Provide V5 registration and service records where available
• Work closely with you and the AA Cars team to help with any issues
